Endless Winter
Still buried under a ton of work from my 2007 season, plus an extreme case of the winter blahs, multiply that by this on again off again winter we’ve been having in MN (not to mention the spring teases we’ve experienced) and you have a recipe for disaster here at the Magnoski home. Being couped up inside with six children (with minor breaks when the older ones go outside to play in the slop) can drive anyone crazy… of course, some would say that just having six kids would be enough to drive you crazy - LOL!
Anyway, with this latest round of snow blanketing our state I decided to finally get out there and capture some images of the stuff that, at least this past winter, has made me long for spring more than ever.
Here are my 10 favorite images of today.
I have titled this portfolio “Endless Winter” -enjoy the images.

We had just ’spring’ cleaned the garage yesterday. My son Micah was using work gloves like daddy while he helped. This poor glove didn’t know what hit it.

Our children sized Adirondack chairs are terribly weathered and in need of repair.

My 4.5yr old watching me as I photograph the melting snow run down our front door.
When I went inside he asked “is it cold out?” - I just looked at him and nodded my head.

There was so much snow …

Slush.
One small step, and it was a slippery one.

The house and I wept for spring… well, not really.

Ice crystals on our windows.
