Hello and thank you for visiting my website!
My name is John.  My friends and family call me Johnny; you can call me Johnny too.

Just so you know, I’m more than a photographer.
I’m a husband and a proud father of seven beautiful children.

I’m in love with God and his son, Jesus Christ - and that makes me a Christian (I'm sure you don't mind).

My mission in life is to:
“Never grow weary of doing what is right.”
2Thess. 3:13

I could tell you some grand story about how I discovered photography, but the truth is, the gift of photography was given to me by the only truly creative person I know - God.  It is through his creation that I am inspired to capture the images you see presented here.

I am in awe of his creation, of life, our relationships and connections.
I am amazed by what brings us joy, sorrow... and what mankind is capable of.

I am keenly aware of all the details of life and of God's creation.
Seeing a child's loving smile, water droplets on a fallen leaf, the amber fields at harvest, the light after a good rain etc.  ...  I am gripped by these details that so often go unnoticed.  I love to study and capture these details of life.

It is my hope, that through the images I am inspired to capture, and through my view of this world,  that you too will be inspired and lifted up... that you may be blessed by viewing my various works.

Photographic Art

As you view my personal works, you will discover that my photographic interests vary.  I am inspired by abstract forms, urban & rural decay, the quiet landscape, human connection, and the simplest details of creation.  Not only does my subject matter vary, but also the processes I use.  I love to experiment with different tools (both analogue and digital) to capture the images I'm inspired to.  I am in awe of God's creation, of life, our relationships and connections, and I am keenly aware of what I call "details of life".
